Lucy Allchin

Out-of-School Time Program Evaluation Team Lead

Lucy is adept at turning data into actionable information for program stakeholders. She has extensive experience working with after-school and extended school day programs in New York State and Pennsylvania. She has developed expertise in attendance tracking systems, tailors evaluation findings and content in user-friendly formats, has a strong sense of information flow and attention to detail, and displays data findings in ways that aid comprehension–providing valuable insights to programs and supporting the use of developmental and participatory evaluation approaches to inform continuous improvement.

She graduated from Clarkson University with honors in Mechanical Engineering and worked for Xerox Corp. as a project engineer. Her engineering background makes her an invaluable member of cross-functional strategic planning teams where she has developed new methods of analyzing data to support school district transition plans, developed and analyzed a mapping tool that included more than 14,000 addresses to inform school district attendance zone boundary modifications, and provided technical assistance to a range of projects.
